    • The Mobbs (http://www.themobbs.co.uk/) and The Snakeman 3 (http://www.myspace.com/thesnakeman3) are looking to do a small 2 week tour of North East America early next year and are looking for any help we can get! If anyone knows any promoters / venues / places to stay / things to eat or drink / anything please get in touch as we're a bit clueless!

      Thanks in advance!

    • Hey!

We're heading out next month on tour and we'd love to play Madison and have a date in Columbus and Chicago but need bands to play with!

Sunday, April 8th; Columbus, Ohio - Cafe Bourbon St.

Monday, April 9th; Chicago, IL - Subterranean

Tuesday, April 10th; Madison, WI - HELP!

If you're you a local band or can recommend any locals for Columbus/Chicago that want to jump on let me know.  If ya know of any shows we can jump on in Madison it would be very much appreciated and reciprocated!

    • I hope you get a show in Ohio somewhere. I had the exact same problem with Ohio cities for my bands December Tour. We tried everything as far as getting in touch with folks, bands and venues alike.

I have heard of a place in Cincinatti called, The Comet. They have live garage punk bands play there.

If Ohio doesn't work out for you, Bloomington, Indiana is 3/4 hours west of Dayton, and we are kind to folks on the road.

    • Truth...and by "original" lineup I am talkin' solely of myself, haha...the Get Wets mach 3 is me with an all-new rhythm section plus the sexy-stylings of a sax-man...I've said it before & I'll sneeze it again: this show may get weird, baby...

    • For low key, dive bars, these are my recommendations (if you want fancier, high-end stuff, I can recommend that too):

      1.  Lakeside Lounge - My favorite bar in NYC is the Lakeside Lounge at 11th Street and Ave B.  It's got cheap booze, a photo booth, the nudie photo hunt video game, and live rock 'n' roll.

      2.  Hi-Fi - I also recommend Hi-Fi on Avenue A. between 10th and 11th Street.  They've got this absurd digital jukebox filled with punk and rock n roll, a pool table, pinball, Big Buck Hunter, and old record covers lining every wall.

      3. Black Bear Lodge - 3rd Avenue between 21st and 22nd Street.  The crowd can get kind've douchey sometimes, but it's a dive bar that's themed like a lodge in the middle of ski country.  Very laid back.  There's a giant taxidermied bear.

    • Looking to book an Evil Eyes' mini tour this summer (June/July). Like to play Nashville, Cincinnati, Chicago, Detroit, Louisville, Memphis, Murfreesboro, Huntsville, Birmingham, Chattanooga, Atlanta. Will consider almost anywhere so don't hesitate to ask! Would prefer to start in Nashville (my hometown!) and work out from there and finish in Detroit. I mean, what's more pleasant than the South in the middle of summer?

You can check out The Evil Eyes on our Hideout page:

    • any new crew would need to live in or near Columbia, SC and have their own gear...a rehearsal spot would be sweet too (while we're dreamin'...)

    • Howdy all y'all SC garagesloppers...the Get Wets are lookin' fer a few wild shakers, particularly a bass player & drummer...if ya or someone ya dig would like to do the fits into our mix, let's know pronto! (psst...we have a show April 7th)

    • Hey now!  Give up some love for THE LIKELY HOODS this Thursday at Pianos NYC with the dual-guitar glamtasm of CREEM CIRCUS (from Philly), PS XO (Brooklyn noise rock) and GIRLCRUSH (more Brooklyn punk rock).  9pm THE LIKELY HOODS kick off the fun and it goes all night long!

THE LIKELY HOODS also need your help - just a couple clicks, that's it!
      Here's the deets:
We put this together because we've had this song in our live sets all along and just discovered Dead.net has a contest inviting people to send in videos of themselves performing any Dead composed/recorded material.  They'll select 5 "winners" to be featured and profiled on all their online sites for the whole month of March.  This would be huge for us and you can help us get there with a few simple clicks - no fuss, no muss - but we only have 2 days left to boost our numbersDead.net will be tallying by views and "Likes" to determine their "winners" so if you've got a moment to give us a hand...

      1) go to our YouTube page to watch the video for our raucous version of

The Faster We Go The Rounder We Get: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iM3wzHqEr3I

      2) click "Like"

      3) share it far and wide with everybody

      4) repeat!

      THANKS EVERYBODY!
