California's got some great spots though, shame you're stuck in one you don't like.

    • After far too long a hiatus, I'll be back DJing a set or two at The Cat Club in San Francisco, 1190 Folsom st. on March 30th!  I'll be spinning my unusual mix of garage, glam, punk, psychobilly, surf, and the other musical mayhem I inflict upon the unsuspecting club-goers!

More details (such as set times, door fee etc) closer to the date, but if you're in the city, make the scene!

      Yeah baby wow!

Hey, El Rey. What's up in Cincinnati these days? All the places I used to play closed... I'm in a band from Indianapolis. We could probably do some gig trades in the spring. DEEZEN https://www.facebook.com/pages/DEEZEN/169008878763

    • El Rey here with Doctor Bombay. I'm booking up our early 2012 gigs and figure this is always a good place for networking. If any bands are coming through Cinci or want to set up something down here, I'll be happy to help. In exchange if you have a show in your town we can jump on, that would Rock.

Message me and let me know!

    • Hey all! Rev. Dan here. My band DEEZEN has entered a Rolling Stone Magazine contest to open for Jane's Addiction and The Roots here in Indianapolis before the Super Bowl.

How funny yet cool would it be if one of our own kind won this contest??? Kinda the reason I entered it....

All you gotta do is, click the link below, click vote, use your Facebook login, and then click vote one last time.

That's all there is to it! Help exploit my band and make this show something to laugh at!

Thanks and feel free to share this with others. You can vote once daily, but can vote everyday.

      Let's do this!!!!

    • I recommend contacting Doc's Music Hall in Muncie Indiana.  They have always treated us well and you're likely to get a great turnout.  Also, Jackie O's in Athens Ohio is a smaller club but it is in a college town so there are plenty of kids there eager for a great rock show.

    • Lee , You MAY OR MAY NOT REMEMBER , I OPENED UP FOR YOU AND DAVIE ALLAN AND THE KNOXVILLE GIRLS AT THE LOUNGE AX , IN CHICAGO , IN 1999.

This book looks very interesting. The widely undocumented (VERY poor choice of words , sorry.) influence and involvement of Latino/as in the LA Punk scene deserves an overview , and Alice is the woman for the job.           Be well , John Battles .
