    • "Voix de Garage" is an ode :

to beautiful songs starting with "!!!",

      to 3-notes guitar solos,

      to ear-bleeding larsens,

to bands with less than two 7'' releases,

      to bass tom-based drum breaks,

      to simplistic bass lines.

But also to glitter and to guitar amps tuned up to 11!!!

In brief, Voix de Garage is the show for 1963 to 2013 garage, punk and rock 'n roll lovers!!!

It is in French, folks, take the opportunity to learn our 4 letters words ;)

Gabba gabba we accept you one of us!!!

We are delighted and excited to announce the MODSTOCK program here

Early bird tickets are on sale now here

Write this date in your diary and grab yourselves a piece of the action folks, this is the BIG one. New Untouchables present ‘MODSTOCK- 50 years of Mod’ in London, the birthplace of Mod.

The Mod phenomenon has touched the hearts and souls of so many people and is still influencing fashion, music, art and culture in the 21st century. This event is a celebration of 50 years of Mod not from its mysterious birth but when it swept across the whole of Britain. Since then it has reinvented itself time and time again to each new generation in keeping with the spirit of its pioneers and originators.

The four day event over the Easter Holidays 2014 will showcase all aspects of Mod music and culture spanning the last six decades. The Mod scene is now truly global as this event proved ten years ago when artists and disciples from all over the World descended on London for ‘Modstock 2 - 40 Years Of Mod

The whole festival will be filmed for a future DVD release and TV documentary so make sure you are part of this historical event

      AGMP presents

      + special guests

      + The Spitfires

      + DJ Dave Edwards

Graham Day – legendary vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for garage/psychedelic icons, The Prisoners. Long Heralded as one of the great lost bands and influential across so many quarters, The Prisoners story is a long one and continues as an ever increasing list of contemporary acts including The Charlatans, The Stone Roses & The Inspiral Carpets cite them as influences.

Part of the ’80s Medway garage/trash Scene, they soon began to set themselves apart, with their unique sound and at the time unfashionable inclusion of a Hammond Organ in the instrumentation. Played of course by James Taylor (pre-James Taylor Quartet).

Following the demise of The Prisoners, Graham Day and Allan Crockford joined forces with Wolf Howard and later Fay Hallam, to form The Prime Movers, a rockier more progressive sound including the Earth Church LP, which was hailed by the now defunct Sounds Music Weekly as LP of the year.

The chaps later returned to their famous garage sound with the formation of The Solar Flares, some truly great LPs and live shows followed, before most recently Graham went on to form Graham Day & The Gaolers.

The new project, Graham Day & the Forefathers, featured Graham Day on Guitar / Vocals, Allan Crockford on Bass / Vocals and Wolf Howard on Drums. Expect to hear a mixture of new and old material tonight.

      Friday January 17th

Deviation Street is London’s hot hang-out for desperate rock’n’rollers. You’ll see & hear the best new garage and trashy rock’n’roll bands we can find.

In addition resident DJ Phil Istine & guest DJ Mole (The Higher State) will be on hand with the vintage vinyl, spinning 45s of garage, beat, rock’n’roll, & other assorted trash.

take half a pound of Graverobbers and splatter a Phobic or two onto the plate and you’re staring at a feast of Rubber Legs...

Luke, Jim, Joey, Shaun and Rob. AKA London’s intense, furious, and intelligent retro garage rock’n’rollers. New single ‘Repeat’ is on, er, repeat in the SBD office.

Take a bit of Max’s Kansas City New York sleaze and mix it with the primeval brutality of Iggy & the Stooges, the seedy glamour of 1970’s glitter trash and the caveman stomp of 60s garage rock, and you’ve got a group that’s on a take-no-prisoners rock ‘n’ roll mission. Welcome to Bubblegum Screw, London’s hottest glam punk ‘n’ roll band.

Swamp rock, powerful three-piece. Ex members of Pussycat and The Johnsons, Mansun, and Juke Joint Snipers.

      Friday December 20th

Christmas party! Phil Istine’s (actual) birthday!! Four top bands and one amazing guest DJ!!! Seriously, those that make it in are in for a treat...

Deviation Street is London’s hot hang-out for desperate rock’n’rollers. You’ll see & hear the best new garage and trashy rock’n’roll bands we can find.

In addition resident DJ Phil Istine & guest DJ Andy Roseaman (Brighton garage royalty. The Hideaway/Stack Sick/The Big Itch etc.) will be on hand with the vintage vinyl, spinning 45s of garage, beat, rock’n’roll, & other assorted trash.

      THE 45s
The band thousands of you are talking about! High octane Rhythm & Blues by four souls from Carlisle. The 45s metaphorically step straight from a 1950’s time machine, sent from Mississippi and crash landing in Cumbria. The group come vocally and visually inspired by the sentiment and character of the early rock'n'roll/beat era. Harnessing their songwriting talent with an explosive repertoire of classic sounds and lyrics, the band pass an admirable nod to Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters and Bo Diddley, together with the outrageous guitar of hero Wilko Johnson. Debut single is out on Heavy Soul Records just in time for this show!

Cat Black are a London Rock'n' Roll Band (capital letters intentional!), creating original and retrospective sounds (Stones, Flamin' Groovies, Stooges), and specialising in EXPLOSIVE live shows. With the help of vocal trio The Giddi Mama's, Cat Black's sound is unmistakable!

"The November Five combine the driving sneer of Earl Brutus, some of the atmospherics of the Arcade Fire if they weren't twig-stroking Canadians, and some very British bombast - in The November Five's hands, guitars do, very much, squall." The Quietus
Our old mates are back to tear roofs off. Be prepared. Oh, and the debut album "If You're Satisfied You Are Dead" is now out!

Outsider punk rock blues. Londoners now, but from all over the world in the past. High octane, fast paced whirlwind songs to give us lift off!

      I think they sound ACE.

Has anyone else heard or seen them?

Also I think they've already split-up, I think this is a cryin' shame.

    • My name is King Cayman, I'm a little One Mand Band from Madrid, Spain. I started playing two years ago, down the name of "Cerberus Goat". I stopped a year ago, but I comeback this November. I've played in some fests and finally recorded my first album called "demo(n)". "demo(n)" includes 8 original songs and 2 covers, of Art Guy and King Dude. The whole album has been recorded in my house bathroom, with primitive techniques and do-it-yourself produced.

I consider Blues Trash, punk and garage, my main influences. People like Rev. Beat-Man or Urban Junior, for example.  I also want to give it a whole lo-fi filter that makes it sound as dirty as possible!
